What actually happens during your Gait Analysis at The Gait Clinic?
A complete session will usually last for around 3 hours. It may vary depending on your presentation, however can resemble below:

- They will conduct a thorough physical gait assessment checking muscle strength, range of motion and gathering other information
- You will then have your walking gait filmed by two cameras, this will be analysed by the physiotherapist and orthotist.
- A prototype assistive technology prescription will be formed based on this information and you will be able to trial sample devices to check for improvement or changes. You will be filmed again using this technology to check for improvements.
- A report will be created where your filmed gait is broken down into components and scored.
